Ryan co-founded Addix in September of 2006 while attending Central Michigan University. Growing up he always participated in a wide range of athletics ranging from soccer to wrestling. His entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the sport of wrestling fueled his desire to start a screen printing company in support of various local wrestling clubs. The business originated in the basement of his partner’s parents home in Shepherd Michigan, then progressed to their barn and eventually into an old remodelled pub in Lowell, Michigan. At that time in 2013 the company was made up of only six employees. In a shift to transform athletic apparel manufacturing, Ryan effectively established a domestic supply chain allowing for completely custom garments to be delivered in under three weeks setting a new industry standard. In 2017 the Addix brand reached national acclaim becoming an Inc. 5000 company with over 60 employees. Over the last decade, Ryan has proven to be a consummate leader with unparalleled business acumen. His role at Addix the oversight of continuous improvement and Capex improvement initiatives, planning and development of business partnerships and company growth initiatives, and LEAN engagement.
