Congratulations to Our 2018 Addix Great American Giveback Semifinalists


Our semifinalists for the 2018 Addix Great American Giveback are now set. We have some great cause events in this contest and we look forward to working with each school to help make them happen win or lose.

In the Open category, the following teams have advanced: Trinity Football, Livonia Clarenceville Football, Sparta Football, Holland Football, Western Wrestling, Livonia Franklin Wrestling, Battle Creek Central Football, Maple Valley Football, South Putnam Baseball and Softball, and Grand Haven Wrestling.

In the Gilda's Club category, the following teams have advanced: Fruitport High School, Lowell Pink Arrow, Concord Football, Hartford Volleyball, Schoolcraft Basketball, Auburn Hills Oakland Christian, Leto Football, and Chicago Hope Academy.

In the Michael Sadler Foundation category, the following teams have advanced: Sumner Academy, Forest Hills Northern, Marinette High School, Croswell-Lexington XC, and Detroit Renaissance Football.

In the Military/First Responder Appreciation category, the following teams have advanced: Montrose Football, Clio Volleyball, Salesian Football, Sumner Academy Football, Snowflake Football, Mason Football, Little Village HS, Royal Oak Football, Decatur Central Wrestling, Durand High School, North Branch, Carson City-Crystal, Hartland Wrestling, Coopersville Wrestling, Bridgeport Football, and Plymouth Christian Academy Basketball.

In the Cancer Awareness category, the following teams have advanced: Freeland Football, Carrollton Football, Saginaw Heritage XC, Hudsonville Football, Ionia Football, Bremen Football, Fowler Football, Arkoma Football, Holly Football, Clarkston Wrestling, Fulton Football, Garden City Football. Millington Football, Coldwater Purple Games, St. Ignace, and Leslie Wrestling.

These teams will move on to the semifinals which will kick off on social media at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, 7/22. The semifinals round will end at 2:00am EST on Thursday, 7/26.

Reminder of some contest rules. Votes reset after each round. The schools with the most unique Instagram comments, unique Facebook comments, and Twitter votes will advance to our finals. Duplicate votes are NOT counted. You may vote once per person per social media platform per round so make sure you spread the word. For full contest rules visit
