Recap: Portage Central/Portage Northern and Concord/Plymouth - Our Addix Rivalry Games of the Year

Our 2017 ADDIX Rivalry Games of the Year have come and gone.

We had two great rivalries this year decided by our Twitter contests. In Michigan, Portage Central and Portage Northern edged out Tecumseh and Adrian in the finals to claim the title of 2017 Michigan ADDIX Rivalry Game of the year. In Indiana, Concord and Plymouth beat Reitz and Mater Dei in their finals to claim the title of 2017 Indiana ADDIX Rivalry Game of the Year. The competition was decided via Twitter polls. In Indiana 4,944 votes were cast. In Michigan, 5,651 votes were cast.

All four schools received custom ADDIX football jerseys they helped design to wear especially for their rivalry games. ADDIX donated these jerseys to the four schools as a reward for their efforts.

Portage Central defeated Portage Northern in their game 28-3. Portage Central's jerseys were throwback uniforms.

Concord beat Plymouth 17-0 in their game. Plymouth was celebrating the 40th Reunion of 1977 IHSAA State Championship Football Team that Friday.

Great job by all four schools and communities for uniting with their rival to win our contests! We hope you enjoyed the uniforms.
